Our MoaTrek experience certainly re-enforced our conviction that small group tours are the way to go! It was a great combination of supervised guiding with space and time to 'do our own thing'. Also, as well as learning about NZ, we became good friends with the rest of our international group, finding out about their cultures & customs.
